Canberra Ukulele Festival of Fun –The CUFF

After a very successful inaugural Canberra Ukulele Festival, Ukelyptus and the Tuggeranong Arts Centre is looking forward to The CUFF 2012 to be held from October 19th—21st 2012.

 

This year it is again being held at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre, with an added Ukulele Dinner and Dance being held at the Tuggeranong Southern Cross Club on the Friday Night.

 

The Event is being held over 3 Days this year, from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st of October.

Come celebrate the era between the two world wars when ukuleles and gangsters ruled supreme. Slip on your spats, don your fedora, grab your uke and enjoy an evening of hot music, fine food and cool company. Featuring the music by retro-swing show band, Bim Bam Boogie. Tables of 8 only $65 p/p.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre

Adults $12, Concession $10, Family (2&2) $30.

 

Featuring: Headline Acts, group Ukulele performances, beginner and intermediate workshops, massed uke play-along, open mic opportunities, multi-cultural food stalls and bar service. Three performance venues conveniently located under the one roof including the Theatre, the Uke Cafe, and the Uke Workshop Studio, as well as the Merchandise Gallery and the Group Tune-Up Room. There will also be sales, auctions and raffles of a number of special ukuleles displayed in the gallery that have been lovingly painted by some of the region's finest exhibiting artists. Proceeds will be donated to "Beyond Blue". Tickets available from the box office on the day in the main foyer.
